Better ways to say “In the process of”

Six words where one verb form will do.

i · Why avoid itTwo lines, no filler

Progressive tense ("are building") already tells the reader something is ongoing. "In the process of" is a crutch — sometimes literally hiding a passive ("we are in the process of being audited"). Rewrite around the verb.
